Valley Village is a small upscale LA community of around 22,000 residents that was considered part of North Hollywood until the 1990s. It is located north of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley and is bounded by Tujunga Wash on the west, Ventura Freeway on the south, Hollywood Freeway on the east and Burbank Boulevard on the north. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and off the beaten path. It is close to libraries, shopping, schools, churches, restaurants and an arts district.
Valley Glen's quiet, tree-lined streets take you back to the San Fernando Valley of days gone by. Prior to the early 1990s, it was known simply as Area 966. Valley Glen is bounded by Sherman Way on the north, Hazeltine Avenue on the west, Burbank Boulevard on the south and Whitsett Avenue on the east.
