Named for the Mack Sennett Studios in the 1920s and today close to many film and television studios and production companies. Studio City is the heart of the San Fernando Valley lifestyle. Ventura Boulevard, the pulse of the Valley, is the focus of eclectic dining, shopping and entertainment experiences. Ventura Boulevard is a shopper´s paradise, with fashionable boutiques, custom jewelry, artistic décor items, music and electronic shops, and more.

A wide range of restaurants, bistros, nightclubs and theaters provides an international mix of dining and entertainment options and an exciting nightlife. The Sportsmen´s Lodge, with its garden settings, has been a landmark since 1962. Also on Ventura Boulevard, Jerry´s Famous Deli and Art´s Deli are popular meeting places with plenty of great food. Jerry´s, the flagship of the deli chain, opened here in 1978. It has more than 600 items on its menu.

Studio City is a great place to live, with good schools, access to freeways and major transportation arteries, a mix of housing styles, and parks and open spaces. Coldwater Canyon Park on Mulholland Drive offers 44 acres of natural beauty, including seven miles of hiking trails. At Laurel Canyon Dog Park, also on Mulholland Drive, owners bring their canine companions to enjoy three acres of off-leash freedom. A renovated Tujunga Wash Greenway Project nearby features native vegetation and a continuous stream, along with hiking and biking paths. Studio City is a desirable location, with both established and newer housing, and property here is a good investment.
